Alpha terms

The rules for using TezGrid while it's in alpha, written to be read. They apply to developers who send requests and to operators who run nodes.

Last updated 4 October 2026

The short version TezGrid is an early, invite-only service. It will break sometimes. Your requests run on computers owned by independent operators, so don't send anything you wouldn't want a stranger to read. Credits have no cash value, and operator payouts aren't available yet.

01Who we are

TezGrid is run by Ambitious Software ("we", "us"). By creating an account, using an API key or running a node, you agree to these terms and to our privacy notice. If you're using TezGrid for a company, you're agreeing on its behalf and confirm you're allowed to.

02This is an alpha

  • Access is by invitation, and we can end it at any time.
  • There's no uptime guarantee or service level. Requests can fail, be slow, or be served by whichever node is available.
  • Features, prices and limits will change. We can reset data or shut the alpha down; we'll give notice where we reasonably can.
  • Don't build anything critical on TezGrid yet.

03Your account

  • Use a real email address you control, and keep your password and API keys secret. You're responsible for everything done with them.
  • One person per account. Each operator machine can be bound to one account only.
  • You must be at least 18.
  • Tell us at support@tezgrid.com straight away if you think your account or a key has been compromised.

04Where your requests go

Requests pass through our gateway and are then processed on a machine run by an independent operator. Our gateway and that machine both handle your prompt and the response in readable form. The tunnel between them is encrypted, but the operator's machine has to decrypt the request to run the model.

Operators agree not to read, store or share request content, but we can't technically stop someone who controls their own hardware. So:

  • Don't send passwords, keys, payment details, health or financial records, other people's personal data, or anything confidential.
  • "Confidential" routing currently relies on settings declared by operators. It is not verified by hardware attestation, and you shouldn't treat it as a guarantee.

05Developers: credits and pricing

  • During the alpha you can't buy credit. We may grant credits at our discretion.
  • Credits have no cash value. They can't be refunded, transferred or exchanged, and they may be removed when the alpha ends.
  • Usage is charged against your balance at the published rate, currently $1 per million prompt tokens and $2 per million completion tokens. We'll show any change in the docs and console before it applies.
  • Spend caps on API keys are a safety net, not a promise. Check your usage in the console.

06Operators: running a node

  • Only run a node on hardware you own or are allowed to use, and where you're happy to pay for the electricity and bandwidth.
  • You're responsible for following the licence of every model you install.
  • Don't inspect, log, store, copy or share the content of requests your node serves, except as strictly needed to answer them. Don't tamper with responses, misreport hardware or usage, or try to game routing.
  • The console records 94.5% of each settled charge as your share. Payouts aren't available during the alpha. These figures are a record of usage, not money we owe you. If we launch payouts, we'll publish their terms first.
  • We can stop routing to a node, or remove it, if it's unreliable or breaks these terms.

07Acceptable use

Don't use TezGrid to:

  • break the law, or create or share content that sexualises minors, promotes violence, or harasses people;
  • write or spread malware, phish, spam, or attack other systems;
  • attack, overload or probe the network, or get around rate limits, spend caps or account binding;
  • try to identify, track or reach operators or other users;
  • resell access or present outputs as coming from someone else's service without our written permission.

We may suspend accounts or keys that break these rules, without notice if it's urgent.

08Model output

Open models can be wrong, out of date, biased or offensive. You're responsible for checking output and for how you use it. Each model comes with its own licence, which you must follow.

09No warranty, limited liability

TezGrid is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in cash in the three months before it arose. During the alpha that's usually nothing.

10Ending things

You can stop using TezGrid at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@tezgrid.com. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms, or when the alpha ends.

11Changes and contact

We'll post changes on this page and update the date at the top. For significant changes we'll also tell you by email or in the console. If you keep using TezGrid after a change, the new terms apply.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Questions: support@tezgrid.com or contact@ambitious.software.
